The Valli Wine Bar is located in the heart of Kurow’s CBD. Situated in the historic Ōamaru Stone Kurow Post Office, a bit of hidden luxury awaits. Exciting wines, small plates and stellar hospitality will greet you on your visit. Please give us a call to book a tasting or a group visit.
Open Wednesday through Sunday from 12 – 6:30pm and until 8pm on Friday and Saturday
Valli has been making Waitaki wines for 20 years and Central wines for 25. Here at the Valli Wine Bar, you have the opportunity to look at our current vintages and selections from our Library when available.
Tasting flights have been choreographed with a focus on education as well as pleasure. Whether it be an understanding of vintage variations, winemaking decisions or the effect of terroir, there is always something to learn while enjoying your glass of wine and soaking up the atmosphere.
From the outset, it was our goal to honour the heritage of the historic Kurow Post Office building. Preservation and enhancement have been the focus and we have been blessed to work with local trades and craftsmen who have shared our vision (most of the time) and helped us to reach our goal.
