Bed & Breakfast in an old school! Located in Enfield – a short drive from Ōamaru, the building has been recently renovated & retains much of its original character. Luxuriate in its large guest rooms with ensuites.
The Old School is located in rural Enfield, just a 10–minute drive from Ōamaru & 300m from the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail.
Evening meals are available from the local country pub within a 5 min walking distance.
The Old School can sleep up to 12 with 4 rooms inside the school building & 2 Studio units in a garden setting.
All guest rooms are large, have ensuites and are equipped with TV, tea and coffee, hairdryer, iron and electric blanket along with free wifi. The beds are all Super-King and can be configured to a twin setting if required. Please advise at time of booking.
The Old School has recently been renovated by your hosts Craig & Blanche. Rimu (NZ Native hard-wood) tongue and groove panelling feature throughout most rooms. The wood features create a warm, relaxed environment. Yet it is obviously an old school!
The Old School also owns The Headmaster’s House directly opposite. It is great accommodation for families surrounded by a large fenced garden, free WIFI & off road parking.
The house is fully self-contained with 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 6 .
