- Scott's Brewing Co.
Located on the edge of Oamaru's Victorian Precinct and beside Oamaru Harbour, Scott's produces New Zealand's only gluten-free beer. With a great selection of other craft beers made from the purest, local ingredients, enjoy a cold one out on the deck or on the lawn with a gourmet pizza to follow

A few years back, the NZ Whisky Company bought at auction, the last 80,000 litres of cask strength whisky from what was the southern-most distillery in the world. Head to the cellar door to sample their full range of specialty whiskies including the Oamaruvian and the Dunedin DoubleWood (among many others)

A boutique producer of cool climate wines including Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Riesling, Ostler Vineyards wine is "38 million years in the making," due to the limestone based soils in which the grapes are grown. Head to their cellar door, Vintners Drop, in the old post office in Kurow for a taste

The newest cellar door in the Waitaki District, River T are a small boutique vineyard which have a mixture of grape varieties. Pop in for a lovely wine tasting, to buy direct or grab yourself a coffee for the road!
